Key Features:

  • Enhanced Sensor Technology: Equipped with 2 digital wet bulb and dry bulb sensors and 4 additional RTD sensors, our electronic sensors are strategically placed in air flow plenum spaces to control the primary logic sequences within the kiln. The RTD sensors can also serve as an invaluable reference for fine-tuning the drying process.

  • Built-In Data Recording: All sensor readings are automatically recorded within the system's built-in data recording package. This enables you to keep a comprehensive historical record of drying conditions, allowing for analysis and optimization over time.

  • Trending Technology: Our advanced trending technology presents sensor data in a visually intuitive manner, making it easier for you to monitor and assess the drying process at a glance.

Flexible Control Modes:

The NDK-R platform capitalizes on our extensive experience in kiln control, offering support for the following control modes. This empowers kiln operators to choose the ideal drying method based on the specific species being processed:

  • Conventional Mode: This mode utilizes a controlling dry bulb for temperature control and a wet bulb reading for venting the kiln or adding moisture.

  • Dump Cycle Mode: Dump cycle mode This will run a time-based Heat, dump, and rest cycle with multiple repeats to get thick slabs down from 15% to 8% or less.

  • Heat Treat Mode: In this mode, when the target temperature (settable) is reached and maintained for the required time (settable), the kiln stops automatically.

  • DH Mode: This mode is more suitable for drying slow-drying hardwoods like oak. In this mode, the kiln is controlled according to traditional DH operation.

  • Hybrid Mode: This mode is more suitable for faster-drying species. In this mode, the kiln is controlled more according to traditional/conventional drying practices while using a dehumidifier.
